I don't like the
person I've become. Screaming and yelling and angry shrew (last night). Fearful, depressed, almost incapacitated.
I am committed to changing it.
For me, of course!
But also - if anyone out there reads this and is depressed, I'm going to prove to you that it can be done, so you can do it too!
Today: I will do my spiritual work. I will eat well. I will clean something here. I will meditate, even if only for a couple of minutes. I will NOT put unhealthy things into my head, meaning mean thoughts, fearful thoughts, bad tv or news...If unhealthy thoughts come, I will gentle them as Thich Nhat Hanh teaches: http://www.shambhalasun.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1756 -I will not spew anger. I will be forgiving and compassionate, without being a doormat. I will be in somewhat better shape tonight than this morning, and on and up from there.
