Count your blessings. Make a
list of ten blessings. Write why
you’re grateful. Reread your list, and at the end of each blessing say thank you, thank you, thank you, and
feel as grateful for that blessing as you can.
I am truly blessed to live in
a place where there are very few natural disasters. And access to mountains and beaches both.
Because it is happenstance
from my grandparents to my parents….
Thank you thank you thank you!
I am so happy and grateful for
the time with J. now.
Because we have BOTH grown.
And – who knows…
Thank you thank you thank you!
I am truly grateful for
friends, and seeing them more this summer!
Because we ALL enrich each
OTHER’S lives!
Thank you thank you thank you!
With all my heart, thank you for
having started on my cleanin today!
Because
the bathroom, den, and kitchen are all better!
Thank
you thank you thank you!
I am truly blessed to have my
health!
Because I understand the
saying, “When you have your health, you have everything…”
Thank you thank you thank you!
I am so happy and grateful for
my hearing the birds and looking up,
Because I saw that their door
had swung shut and they were locked OUTSIDE of the cage wanting to get IN!
So I opened it immediately.
And they ate.
Thank you thank you thank you!
I am truly grateful that I now
enough to not leave then unattended when out!
Because I am responsible for
their safety and health.
Thank you thank you thank you!
With all my heart, thank you
for books
Because I enjoy them, and they teach me, and they
help me stay connected as I am in a reading group.
Thank you thank you thank you!
I am so incredibly fortunate
and lucky and grateful for people liking me
Because it sure feels a lot
better than if they didn’t.
Thank you thank you thank you!
I am so incredibly fortunate
and lucky and grateful for my hands
Because I do piano, typing,
bird care, cleaning, hug-touching, writing, cooking, pouring water, washing, so
much thanks to my hands.
Thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you thank you thank you!
2. Remember The magic by
counting the blessings of yesterday and writing them down. Ask yourself the
question: What are the good things that
happened yesterday? Scan the surface of yesterday until you feel satisfied
that you’ve remembered and written down all the blessings of the day.
