In This Moment, I set priorities.
I woke up this morning feeling overwhelmed. There are so many things on my mental "to do" list and I think everything must be done today. Recovery has taught me to do a reality check, so I take a deep breath and honestly assess this long list.
Once my fears are calmed, I begin to prioritize items. Some are important and need to be taken care of as soon as possible, but most can wait for another day.
I begin my day by dealing with one thing at a time, in their order of importance.
