Today's Reading - In This Moment

In This Moment, I value myself. For many years, my parents were majority stockholders in my personal corporation - the one in my head. They didn't even need to vote or express an opinion. I just went ahead and made the decisions that I assumed they would like. I lied my life codependently, trying to satisfy their unspoken standards. As it says in our CoDA Welcome, I found a new freedom from my self-defeating lifestyle. Today, I value myself, I decide what is best for me.
