Today's Reading - In This Moment
In This Moment, I envision my goals.
For many years, I lived out the goals of other people - my parents, teachers, or even society at large. Today, I am clear on what I want to experience and how I want to live my life. I see my long-range goals, but I also break them down into more manageable bite-size chunks so they don't become too overwhelming. I could never seem to save up $1,000 to invest, but I can save $25 or $50 a month. Losing 50 pounds seems insurmountable, but I can go to the gym 2 - 3 times a week for 30 minutes. Little steps add up over time. My goals are specific, measurable, achievable, and have a realistic timeline. I can do this.
