My 100 Gratitudes a Day

I am grateful: 1. M. On phone with me right now. 2. Today’s For Today. Hmmm. 3. And today’s I This Moment too. Wow. 4. That S sent me pics of his and J’s hotel in Florida. So nice! 5. And that I answered, wishing them fun and giving a 1-srentence update on L. 6. That those two do not hate me! Last week I was afraid they did. 7. That they even love me! Oh, thank God. 8. My doctor is available today. Finally! 9. Although it turns out I have a cataract in EACH eye – oy – and my vision test was a little worse than 3 months ago - my opthamologist says there is nothing to worry about with my eyes. Phew. 10. I am so grateful for my eye drops (glaucoma). 11. And that my pharmacy is still giving me the name brand ones. 12. And that I can afford the high co-pay. 13. I am grateful that L. was SO thankful for his birthday presents from me. 14. AND – is still talking about the great day out we had. 15. And being very romantic. Yum. 16. And his last present, which must have gotten lost in the mail earlier on, finally arrived here yesterday. Goody. 17. I am grateful that I got to work yesterday. I didn’t know I could do it yesterday. And I did. 18. And those kids – oh I just love those kids. 19. Plus I gave them a great day. 20. I have already taught them so much! : ) 21. And they seem to really love learning. 22. Today’s Language of Letting Go. It somehow makes me feel ok as I am. And that’s hugely important For all of us, in my opinion. 23. My roses. I am loving so much, looking at them. 24. And they are a concrete reminder of L’s love for me. I guess I needed that. 25. And I am grateful that I sent him a thank you. 26. That I woke up! Nightmares. Yuck. Glad I woke up. 27. The affirmation, “I forgive myself.” Deep breath. Wow. 28. Absurd sense of humor 29. L called 30. And is on phone with me right now. 31. Little H. 32. And even Le. 33. I have a shower 34. And a bathtub 35. And I took a bubble bath last weekend 36. Fruit 37. Organic fruit 38. Coffee this morning 39. And I didn’t have to go out and get it! 40. Because I bought the grounds 41. And made it here. So I just had to heat it. 42. Kissies 43. Computers 44. The book, “Eat to Live,” by Mark Furhman 45. Party coming up – in late October! For the October birthdays. 46. And I like the people. 47. And one of the b’day people is L. Out of time! More later! 47. Little J, in my class 48. That someone told me I looked pretty today. 49. And I do. 50. That little T is behaving SO MUCH BETTER NOW in class! Phew: ) That makes everyone, pretty much. 51. That I like my principal. 52. And she likes me. 53. That I live where I do. 54. That I get to work with M. 55. Safe school bus trip the other day. 56. That I AM a good math teacher, after all. 57. That I do teach each class about how to applaud, every year. 58. That I DID get here in time today. Was running very late. 59. But did get hair fixedand makeup on 60. And dressed so nicely 61. And safe trip up here 62. And heard back from S again. Nice. 63. Eyeglasses 64. And prescription sunglasses too. 65. That the kids look so special today, on picture day 66. That I have like 5 nice skirts! 67. And a nice dress 68.
