Feelings Work
I feel, and why I think that is:
Better. The house is in better order. Well, a mess since L got here because he makes a mess, but I'm about to straighten that, and I mean that I had gotten it in order Fri and Sat morning. Phew.
Better physically. Almost always, and certainly for many years if not forever, I had felt, and said, " I do NOT want "only" salad for dinner! And last night, out at the restaurant - where they did have a lovely vegan offering, I wanted only salad! It had beautiful (young?) greens and a little walnuts and a little green apple and a vegan balsamic dressing. And I had some toasted Italian bread with it - not too much. And I loved that dinner.
And I felt so good afterward.
And at lunchtime, L. finally gave in and decided to try a Japanese place. He has always said, "I don't eat raw fish." And I've always said, "I don't eat ANY fish, and *I* eat at Japanese restaurants - there's a lot more than fish there!" So we had a great lunch. It too, left me feeling so healthy. Plus of course I didn't overeat at all yesterday. And reading the Mindful Trainings is so good for me too.
Next time I will do differently:
Get enough sleep every night!
