I am home because I have breathlessness from my asthma, and diarrhea - Sorry if tmi but I am not embarrassed about body functions. I think our bodies are miracles and they do what they do, just like dogs', cats', fishes', and everyone else's.
Anyway, I still must cook for the week, so I decided to make lentil soup for starters, as it is easy, rustic, healthy and I have the ingredients for it.
I went to use the slow cooker, but there was no lid.
I called J because he was always the one who used it, but he knew nothing. And it wasn't the most comfortable phone moment either.
But -
I put the soup together and in a Dutch oven on the stovetop, and I practiced some Bach that might be easy for most but it is where I am now.
And
I felt happy!
Just by myself
with simple lentil soup cooking
and me practicing on *my* piano
what *I* am able to practice
and NOT feeling bad about it
and accepting myself
and I love this
I loved the doing
and I love that I felt happy.
I had to run here and jot it!
And yes, I have already thanked God - a number of times - and will continue to.
There is hope!
